Siming ChenSiming Chen is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Data Science, Fudan University. He directs the Fudan Visual Analytics and Intelligent Decision Laboratory (FDUVIS). Previously a Research Scientist at Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (IAIS) and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bonn, he holds a B.Sc. from Fudan University (2011) and a Ph.D. from Peking University (2017). His research focuses on big data visualization, visual analytics, and interactive artificial intelligence, with key domains including AI+VIS, large model-driven visual analytics, social media analysis, autonomous driving, fintech, and digital twins. With over 100 publications, he has authored more than 40 papers in top-tier CCF A conferences/journals including IEEE VIS, IEEE TVCG, ACM CHI, ACM CSCW, and ACM UIST. Recognized as an AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Honorable Mention in Visualization (Global Top 100), he has led/participated in 10+ national and provincial-level research projects.
