Jiawen ZhangJiawen Zhang is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Fudan University, specializing in operator algebras, higher index theory, and geometric group theory. Among his key contributions are constructing new counterexamples to the coarse Baum-Connes conjecture and establishing quasi-local characterisations for index algebras. He has published more than 20 papers in prestigious journals including Adv. Math., CMP, IMRN, Trans. AMS and JFA. Recognised for his outstanding research, he has been awarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Grant for Excellent Young Scholars and the Shanghai Leading Talents (Overseas) honor. |
