"Approximating Atomic Measures from Trigonometric Moments"Catala, PaulWe consider the problem of estimating a discrete Radon measure $\mu$ on the d-dimensional torus given moments up to some order n. We show that a weighted sum of singular vectors of the moment matrix of $\mu$ defines a polynomial that converges towards $\mu$ in the weak star sense. Furthermore, we show that the unweighted analogue defines a certificate for $\mu$, converging weakly towards the unweighted measure. |
