Welcome
The Second Vienna Workshop on Computational Optimization 2023 (VWCO23) will be held at the University of Vienna from 15-17 March 2023. The program will include 11 plenary talks and a number of contributed presentations. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required due to a limited number of admissions.Invited Speakers
- Hedy Attouch (Université de Montpellier)
- René Henrion (Weierstrass Institute Berlin)
- Pascal van Hentenryck (Georgia Tech)
- Jean Bernard Lasserre (CNRS Toulouse)
- Guoyin Li (University of New South Wales Sydney)
- Ivana Ljubic (ESSEC Business School of Paris)
- Michael Mitzenmacher (Harvard University)
- Sebastian Pokutta (TU Berlin)
- Harald Räcke (TU München)
- Andrzej Ruszczyński (Rutgers University)
- Andrea Walther (Humboldt Universität zu Berlin)
This event is organised and sponsored by the Vienna Graduate School on Computational Optimization (VGSCO), a PhD program funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
The aim of this workshop is to gather researchers from the optimization community. There will be opportunities to interact and discuss the latest trends and theoretical results in this field, but also to review advances and challenges in the computational aspects.
The focus of the Workshop will be on the topics of the Vienna Graduate School on Computational Optimization, namely
- Combinatorial Optimization
- Dynamic Optimization
- Global Optimization
- Heuristic Optimization
- Multicriteria Optimization
- Nonlinear Optimization
- Nonsmooth Optimization
- Optimization for Data Analysis
- Optimization under Uncertainty and Risk
- Parallel and Distributed Optimization
