Description
The goal of this workshop is to foster interactions between the biomathematical scientific communities at the University of Kyoto and the University of Vienna. With this aim, members from both communities will give talks.
We are very grateful to Kyoto University and the University of Vienna for the "KU-UNIVIE Joint Grant Program" that has largely funded this event and to the Erwin Schrôdinger Institute (ESI) for its financial support and for hosting the event.
We also acknowledge financial support by funding bodies in Austria: Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), as well as the Japanese funding Henkaku A (KAKENHI) "Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas(A)".
This event is embedded in the ESI program Mathematical Methods for the Study of Self-organization in the Biological Sciences.
