Topics
The aim of this workshop is to support the promotion of women in mathematics bringing together students, young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) and established female mathematicians working in the area of partial differential equations (PDEs). Outstanding invited speakers will give talks on their current research topics. PhD students are invited to present posters (open to all genders). A panel discussion, chaired by an experienced journalist, will give the possibility to discuss questions concerning not only research but also career planning and practical questions of managing career and family interests.

The poster session, together with the panel discussion and the dinner, will take place in the Sky Lounge (12th floor).
Important infos
Ph.D students *of all genders* are invited to present a poster. During the workshop, an award amounting to 140€ for the best poster (chosen by the registered participants) will be granted. If you are interested in presenting a poster, please send an abstract to claudia.wytrzens@univie.ac.at until May 24, 2019 (extended deadline).
The deadline for attendance is May 31, 2019. All participants are invited to suggest questions to be addressed at the panel discussion by sending them via e-mail to claudia.wytrzens@univie.ac.at.
