"Symbol recovery for localization operators"Halvdansson, SimonThe inverse problem of recovering the symbol of a localization operator is investigated in the case where the symbol is real-valued and integrable. We show how the symbol can be approximated from either the spectral information of the operator or the integral kernel and discuss how these approximations can be improved to recover the symbol exactly. This is accompanied by numerical results showing the viability of the method. |
