"Two species model of interacting agents : an application to neuron migration"

Meyer, Leo

In this talk, I will present a model of interacting agents from two species. This model includes self and cross repulsion at short range for both species, to model that individuals have some volume as well as self and cross attraction at medium range, modelling an aggregation or clustering behaviour. I will present an application of this model to the study of neuron migration in the cortex, where interneurons migrate in a direction that seems to be given by a second population of cells : astrocytes. This leads to enriching the first model with an alignment property of the two species.
