MMEE2024 will take place at the »Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna. It is located in Vienna’s 9th district at Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1.The best way to reach the venue is by underground line U4 – station Roßauer Lände. You can also walk ~10 minutes from U2/U4 station Schottenring or use the tram stop Schlickgasse (line D). Directions from Vienna International Airport:
- Local trains (S7, REX7) cost € 4,40 and stop at Wien Mitte – Landstraße where you can change to U4 (direction Heiligenstadt). The ticket then includes the underground journey as well.
- Long-distance trains are €4,40 as well and will take you to Vienna’s main train station (Wien Hauptbahnhof). See below for further directions.
- Shuttle busses (VAL2) run to Schwedenplatz – another U4 station. They cost € 9,- and do not include any further transport.
- The City Airport Train (CAT) also goes to Wien Mitte - Landstraße. It's ~10 minutes faster than the regional train but more expensive (€ 14,90).
- From Hauptbahnhof, you can reach the Faculty’s vicinity either by underground (U1 > U4) or directly by tramline D (station Schlickgasse in direction Nußdorf)
Public transport tickets (valid for all underground, bus and tram lines as well as regional trains within the city limits) are € 2,40 for one way. Daily tickets cost €8,- and weekly ones € 17,10.
