"Modelling populations with varying population sizes"

Kern, Musxhu (Julian)

Many classical models in population genetics are relying on the assumption of a constant population size. It is, however, unclear to which point varying population sizes might affect the genealogies of the population. In this talk, I present two recent approaches to integrate fluctuations of the population size in classical models.
