"Channelizers in the HTS satellite communication"

Grybos, Anna

Modern communication systems require evolving broadband high-throughput satellite (HTS) envi- ronment beyond conventional payloads toward the digital payload. The concept of a flexible digital payload enabling reconfiguration of the frequency plan, routing and beams that can allocate capacity where and when required attract more and more attention of the engineering and communications society, [1]. Mathematically, the design of the digital payload requires a new look at the filter banks, [2], [3], in the subsystem also known as channelizer, [4]. In the presented work we focus on the design, implementation and testing of a channelizer part in the digital payload for the HTS environment. References [1] H. Fenech. High-Throughput Satellites.
