"Gaussian Random Fields in the Time-Frequency Plane"Koliander, GüntherThe short-time Fourier transform of complex white noise is known to have the structure of a twisted stationary complex Gaussian random field in the time-frequency plane. While a fixed signal in noise can be represented simply by adding a mean to this field, it is more interesting to investigate what types of random signals we can contruct by merely changing the covariance structure. We will give some preliminary results on the investigation of random signals that can be represented in this way. |
