We studied the upper bound of translation lengths on sphere complexes induced by self maps on closed manifolds and use them to study $Out(F_n)$ actions on free factor and free splitting complexes as well as handlebody groups. I will cover materials in arXiv:2107.09018 as well as further results in an upcoming paper. |
